Our Story

Artistic representation of the Survivor Tree 9-11 memorial

The Origins of Pyrus Law

Pyrus Law, formerly known as Jennifer Chang Law, was established in 2012 with the simple vision of providing legal services with excellent customer service. Having worked with diverse populations, Jennifer saw an opportunity to help people looking for legal services they can understand, a person they can trust, and advice that serves their best interests.
In 2016, Jennifer Chang Law officially became Pyrus Law, named after the “Survivor Tree” at the 9/11 memorial. Pyrus is the tree species of the tree that withstood the tragedies of 9/11, was transplanted into new surroundings where it was nursed back to health and was replanted at the 9/11 memorial to grow into new and strong beginnings. We draw strength from its name and journey to help our clients on their new path in the United States.
